Tell us a little about yourself: I graduated high school in 2016 and joined the army right after and was medically retired in 2019 after I got out I went to college and graduated at the top of my class.

Full name: Ian Steel

Appearance: (80 word minimum) Ian has paler skin than most of the people from Alola. Ian always wears his lucky red jacket and gray beanie. Ian also has a black backpack stuffed with books about Pokémon and research on Evee and its evaluations. Ian also wears cargo shorts stuffed with treats and toys. Ian has short brown hair with blue eyes and some freckles on his cheeks. On Ian's jacket, you can see little white hairs from his best friend Bonnie who always hides in the hood of his jacket.

Personality: (150 word minimum)
Ian is very adventurous and open-minded. Ian's love for Ice-type Pokémon and Eevee has not only shaped his interests but has become the driving force behind his decision to leave the snow-covered mountains of Alola. His journey to explore and understand these Pokémon has exposed him to new environments, cultures, and experiences, contributing to his growth as an individual.
Despite the inherent challenges of exploring new territories, Ian has maintained a laid-back and relaxed demeanor. His love for Pokémon and the joy he finds in discovering new things have kept him grounded, even in the face of the unknown.
Living in different environments all across the Aloan islands has instilled in Ian a deep respect for nature. Whether in the snowy mountains or other regions, he appreciates the beauty and diversity of the Pokémon world, recognizing the importance of preserving its natural balance. Due to Ian's understanding, he turned to his mother's guidance through letters and started to worship Arceus.

Biography: (150 word minimum)
In the snowy highlands of one of the Alolan islands, Ian and his sister Helen were born to Martha and Ronald Steel. Growing up in a remote area in his family's cabin close to Mount Lanakila guided by their father, a dedicated researcher of ice-type Pokémon, Ian developed a deep love for these creatures. Inspired by his parents, he aspired to follow in his father's footsteps and learn more about Pokémon.
On Ian's 12th birthday, a routine task to gather firewood led to a fateful encounter. He discovered a wounded Alolan Vulpix, but his attempt to rescue it turned into a trap set by some hooligans. Ian, determined not to abandon the Vulpix, bravely fought back but was overpowered. In a surprising twist, a Glaceon and its trainer intervened, rescuing them from the clutches of these hooligans.
Following the incident, Ian and the trainer worked together to bring the injured Vulpix to Ian's home. Through Ian's care and the assistance of the trainer as well as Ian's family, the Vulpix, named Bonnie, made a full recovery. The bond between Ian and Bonnie became unbreakable, and she remained faithfully by his side.
Years passed, and fueled by an insatiable desire to learn more about Pokémon, particularly Eevee and its evolutions, Ian decided to embark on a journey beyond the snowy highlands. With Bonnie as his loyal companion, he set out to explore the world until he ended up in Toro where he found several new friends and discoveries.


Flaws: difficulty saying no due to his caring nature.
Ian's determination to never give up on Pokémon, as seen in his attempt to rescue the wounded Vulpix, might manifest as stubbornness.

Ambitions: Understanding Eevee and Its Evolutions gave Ian a specific fascination with Eevee and its evolutions. Promoting harmony between Pokémon and humans

Feel free to make responses for the NPC in order to meet this requirement.]

You find yourself standing in a bustling town. Suddenly, a small girl runs up to you, her eyes seeming to glisten with fresh tears as her bottom lip quivers. “Please!” She cries out to you, “You must help me! My poor Meowth is stuck in a tree!” She points to a nearby tree as more tears spill out of her eyes and down her cheeks. How does your character respond?

Ian bends down and pats her on the head "Don't worry sweetie come take my hand and show me where your friend is stuck" The little girl wipes her tears away and grabs his hand tugging him to a tree in the distance. They arrive in front of the tree and he starts to hear cries coming from above as he looks up he sees a Meowth shaking in fear and the little girl tugs his hand saying "Look look please help him!" as tears start to roll down her face again. Ian flashes her a reassuring smile and Bonnie who was in the hood of his jacket jumps out and cuddles up to the little girl to comfort her then he starts up the tree to rescue her scared friend without a care or worry for himself. Within a few minutes, Ian carefully grabbed the Meowth and calmed back down, and gave the little girl her best friend to her unharmed. After checking if everyone is fine Ian says his goodbyes and he and Bonnie leave.

You are walking along the road when your eyes lock onto a trainer's in the distance. At that moment, you both freeze in place. You see a glimmer in the trainer's eyes as he reaches for his Pokeball. "Go, Rattata! Show this chump what we've been training for!" the trainer shouts as he swiftly releases his chosen partner in the vacant space that separates the two of you. How does your character respond?

Ian looks at the man with confusion "Why are you wanting to battle?"
the man looks at Ian with a snarky look "What don't you know when two trainers lock eyes they are to battle."
Ian scratches his head digging into his memories to see if what the man said is true but not able to find what he's looking for Ian just shrugs and says "I am not really a trainer but more of a researcher but I would like to see how you and your partner work together."
The man seems to get excited as Bonnie jumps down from Ians shoulder to take the stage and soon after the battle begins and after a few quick attacks from the rattata Bonnie uses an ice shard and forces her opponent to forfeit the match due to injuries. After the battle Ian helps the man to heal his rattata and after talking for some time about how the man can improve the trust between the man and his rattata Ian and Bonnie leave to continue their journey.

When you get online, you can notify a staff with a starter of your choice, with whatever specifications you could want! Custom Size / Nature / Gender / Non-HA Ability ( if you want one of these, you're best with asking around )
I'll also let you know, since it's easy to miss but! We do level the playing field a little bit and provide Max IVs / near Max IVs for Hidden Powers - though people still need to breed if they want specific stats ( like 0 atk ) and for the rest :3 ! There's a NPC to do that in our Battle Tower!
