Subject: Report on Recent Mission and Collaboration with Other Ranger Teams

Dear Aurora,

I trust this message finds you in good health. I wanted to provide a detailed account of our recent mission, particularly the part where our group split up to face multiple formidable Order members.

Our team, consisting of Max Tanner, Lotte Oliebol, Moss Vertman, and Norah Notley, proved to be a well-balanced force in offense, defense, and power. Our first encounter was with a intoxicated Order member and his obstagoon, which Max's quick thinking set on fire with a well-timed Facade. Norah, perhaps momentarily forgetting her Pokémon, efficiently took down the disoriented foe while Lotte healed Max's Pokémon, and Moss and Max unleashed powerful attacks.

Our second opponent, an armored Order member, initially preferred us leaving peacefully. However, after being provoked, the battle ensued, with our Parasects skillfully blocking multihit moves. Together, we successfully damaged the opponent's Pokémon before they teleported away.

Entering the leaders' rooms, our group rejoined forces with Miss Uriel's team, composed of Caeda, Amelia, and Uriel. The subsequent battle involved powerful Pokémon, and Ursaring, under my command, received crucial support from Lotte. Our coordinated attack was momentarily halted by a depressing tornado unleashed by the Dark Moltres. However, we quickly regrouped, identified a restraining metal ring, and focused our efforts on destroying it. Once freed, we healed the Moltres and tended to its broken leg.

Overall, the collaboration with Miss Uriel's team was successful, and we managed to overcome the challenges posed by the Dark Moltres. It was challenging to keep track of every ranger during the mission, but the overall coordination went smoothly.

Looking forward to resuming patrols once our break concludes. I hope you are doing well, Aurora.

With friendly greetings,
Quint Clay,
Field Ranger
Subject: Ranger Report - Incident at Sea with The Order

Date: 1105, Winter, Day 24

Dear Miss Aurora,

I trust this report finds you in good health. I am writing to inform you of a recent incident during a mission involving a group of Rangers, including myself, Amelia Myers, and Anna. We embarked on a journey with the Water Gym Leader to locate the missing mother of the Lugia baby.

Our expedition took an unexpected turn when we encountered a small sea storm. Despite navigating through the turbulent waves on a ship generously provided by Tori and Aaron Blue, we stumbled upon a disturbing scene. A ship belonging to The Order was attempting to capture and harm a wild Articuno using harpoons and net guns.

The situation escalated quickly as some members of our group, fueled by aggression towards The Order, reacted strongly. Caeda, in particular, rushed towards the enemy ship with her Garchomps, resulting in a confrontation that led both ships and the Articuno to become encased in ice. While Miss Anne and I focused on defending our ship from potential damage with a combination of Wide Guard and Hyper Beam, Miss Amelia utilized her Volcarona to engage The Order and protect the endangered Articuno.

During the chaos, Earnest Young's Kabuto got stuck in the ice while attempting to save Caeda, who ended up on The Order's ship. Unfortunately, Caeda and her Pokémon were overpowered, and one of them succumbed to injuries, sinking to the depths.

After the incident, I engaged in a conversation with Mr. Young, who expressed concerns about the current state of Ranger leadership and suggested additional training in rescue operations and coordination. He emphasized the importance of being better prepared for such situations.

Regrettably, I don't have detailed information about the events that followed, particularly regarding Caeda's condition after being knocked out and thrown into the water. I believe a more comprehensive debriefing is required to gather all the facts.

I hope this report proves useful in assessing the situation and making informed decisions for the well-being of the Rangers and the effectiveness of our missions.

With friendly greetings,

Quint Clay,
Field Ranger
Subject: Ranger Report - Jungle Expedition and Wildlife Interaction

Date: 1106, Spring, Day 04

Dear Miss Aurora,

I trust this report finds you in good health. I am writing to provide a detailed account of our recent expedition into the deep jungle with a small squad consisting of Uriel, Fionna, Amelia, Annemarie, Basil, and myself.

Under Miss Uriel's adept leadership, we convened to review our strategies and selected the Pokémon best suited for the mission. Our choices included versatile moves such as Sweet Scent, Life Dew, and Wide Guard, anticipating the various challenges we might encounter.

As we ventured deeper into the jungle, situated around the open area, we observed an unusual atmosphere. The local Monkey Pokémon seemed distressed, reluctant to climb their usual trees due to recent disturbances. With swift coordination, we approached them, armed with berries and Uriel's excellent communication skills. Through a combination of soothing gestures and offerings, we managed to befriend these hesitant Pokémon, alleviating their fears and fostering a sense of security.

Both Fionna and I took to the trees to demonstrate that the environment was once again safe. It was heartening to witness the timid Pokémon regaining their confidence and returning to their natural habitats. Meanwhile, Miss Amelia, while displaying her usual demeanor, seemed to channel a significant portion of her attention toward her Shaymin companion, a fascinating observation given the primary objective of aiding the distressed local wildlife.

Our successful interaction with the Monkey Pokémon showcased the effectiveness of our team's synergy and empathetic approach. The positive impact on the Pokémon's behavior affirmed the value of our mission and strengthened our commitment to preserving harmony in these natural habitats.

With friendly greetings,

Quint Clay,

Subject: Urgent Ranger Report - Order Attack on Rehab Center

Date: Spring 16, 1106

Dear Miss Aurora,

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to provide an urgent report on a significant event that unfolded today—the Order launched a forceful attack on the rehab center, resulting in a substantial confrontation with the Rangers and the local community.

The assault began with the Order targeting multiple RTMP facilities in the vicinity, attempting to breach their defenses. Our response was swift as the majority of Rangers gathered in front of the center, facing off against the invading Order members. A heated battle ensued, with many Rangers riding atop their Pokémon, engaging and swiftly overcoming the assailants. Despite our success in repelling the attack, some buildings sustained damage.

In my role, I employed my recently acquired Ursaring and utilized Rain Dance to extinguish fires that had broken out in the wake of the confrontation. Ensuring the safety of the rehab center and its surroundings remained a top priority throughout the skirmish.
Once the immediate threat was neutralized, we regrouped within Lugia's area, only to discover that the majestic Pokémon was already missing. High-ranking Order members were present, and it was evident that the Lugia had been spirited away before our arrival. The more formidable trainers among us engaged in direct combat with the Order leaders as they attempted to flee. Despite our efforts, the Order members managed a hasty escape using teleportation.

In the aftermath of the conflict, Rangers and citizens joined forces to assist the injured. The RTMP facilitated the teleportation of Lugia to safety before the attack transpired, ensuring the Pokémon's well-being.

I believe a comprehensive debriefing is necessary to strategize and fortify our defenses against potential future attacks from the Order. The safety of our rehabilitation centers and the protection of Pokémon like Lugia must remain paramount.

With friendly greetings,

Quint Clay,
Field Ranger

[ Report ~ De-Escalation Training ]

I arrived on time for the meeting on de-escalating situations, meeting with Medical Ranger Allister Cypress in the HQ's meeting room. After waiting a few minutes for others to arrive we were notified by a memo that Mr. Wilbur Apollo would not be able to make it to the meeting due to illness. We were subsequently handed a report of a rampaging Pokemon in the nearby forest. Allister and I prepared to head out, picking up Senior Ranger Annemarie on the way, and the three of us flew to the site of the Pokemon in question.

Upon arrival we spotted an irate Slaking tearing apart the forest. After a moment to asses the situation Ranger Allister and I took steps to calm the Pokemon before it could hurt itself or others. I weakened it with Feather Dance while Ranger Allister attempted to calm it with Sweet Scent. Meanwhile Ranger Annemarie continued to examine the situation to find a cause for the Slaking's distress.

Unfortunately Sweet Scent seemed to simply attract the Slaking to Ranger Allister and his Tropius. The Pokemon began to attack them. In an effort to slow the Slaking and draw its attention off our Medic I had my Whimsicott attempt to paralyze it with Stun Spore. While the move connected, the Slaking had a berry on it to prevent the paralysis. Ranger Allister stopped using Sweet Scent, allowing the Slaking to turn its attention to Ranger Annemarie and myself. Annemarie released her Togekiss as Slaking threw a tree at the two of us. We narrowly avoided the tree, thought the branches grazed my arm. A checkup by Ranger Allister later confirmed I was not seriously injured.

Ranger Annemarie had her Togekiss use Yawn, and although the Slaking retaliated and knocked out Togekiss with Giga Impact it subsequently fell asleep. It was then that Wilbur Apollo and Guy Aspen revealed themselves, and that this had been training. We passed with flying colors and did not need further training.

Swalot Relocation

Swalot Relocation- Year 1136 Day 1 Summer
We got a call from the local hospital saying that a child was eaten then spit up by a Swalot in the flower fields. Rina, Holly and myself headed to the area to find the pokemon and we quickly found it fainted by some flowers. I administered a revive to the Pokemon while Rina quickly threw a quick ball at it once it came to and successfully captured it. We are sending the Swalot to the PRRC for rehabilitation and relocation.

Ranger Expedition- Magnificent Morelull

Post: # 17067Post Niatri »

Ranger Expedition: Magnificent Morelull - Year 1136, Day 8, Summer.

A group of us led by Head Ranger Rina departed from the Galena outpost at approximately 5:15 pm. Holly, Raven, Allister, and myself spread throughout the group of children to ensure safe travel through the forest. We followed the hiking trail towards our destination, occasionally stopping to allow Rina to educate the junior rangers and our guests about the native mushrooms. This included an encounter with Grifola frondosa, an edible mushroom that the children were allowed to sample. The group was well behaved and respectful throughout.

We arrived at the cave mouth ahead of schedule. Holly and Rina entered the cave to assess any potential danger, while the rest of us served smores and drinks. No threat was observed, so we were able to escort everyone safely to the morelull nest while Holly continued to monitor activity in the deeper fork of the cave.

Inside the cave, morelull were predictably timid and all parties were respectful of the surrounding flora and fauna. Rina and I gave some brief facts about the species before returning back to Galena outpost, where the parents and guardians safely retrieved their children without incident.

Escort through Golist Island

Post: # 17068Post Niatri »

Year 1136 Day 6, Summer.

On the first of summer, I responded to a request from FRU graduate student Felix Desroches for assistance in field research regarding endemic fossil populations. I debriefed him on the docks as instructed by my superiors and fellow rangers, explaining the strict fire ban in the cave and emphasizing that the underground city must not be approached. After he made it clear he understood, we departed by boat.

The first night on the island was spent near the docks as we arrived late into the first day. We departed early the next morning and reached our destination by mid day. Mr. Desroches was again reminded of the cave’s regulations. I led him to the kabuto nest site without incident where I assisted him in gathering samples from the local flora and fauna. At this time I also advised Mr. Desroches not to remove any of the living fossil populations out of concern for the impacts both on the removed individuals and their native populations. It was decided to camp the night in a small rocky outcropping deeper within the crystal cave channel.

Early the following day, we set off for the main system once again. Due to the significantly more hostile fauna and abundance of territorial nidoran nesting zones, I made the call to observe target pokemon from a distance and only gather plant samples. Despite identifying the omanyte nesting site, only one large male omastar was identified in the surrounding area. Mr. Desroches and I decided to exit the cave this day and return back to the docks before sun down, arriving back on the mainland late last night.

Gogoat Sparring Season

Post: # 17072Post Niatri »

Year 1136, Day 28, Summer.

We received a report of a small herd of male gogoat sparring with each other approximately an hour east of headquarters. Due to the proximity to high traffic areas and the increased territoriality of the pokemon during this season, I requested the assistance of my fellow rangers to monitor the group and ensure no people or pokemon were injured. Myself, Holly, Annemarie, JL, and Allister made the short hike to the reported location where the pokemon were sighted.
Not long after arrival, we noticed a smaller male exhibiting signs of illness and chose to observe its actions in case it needed medical attention. This young male attempted to spar with the largest dominant male, however their battle was disrupted by the sudden collapse of the alpha and the dispersal of its herd. JL, backed by Holly and Annemarie, attempted to approach the collapsed gogoat while Allister and I maintained distance to spot any potential threats. A roar behind Allister and I alerted to a druddigon which had presumably been trying to prey upon the alpha gogoat. Allister alongside Tabasco kept the druddigon at bay while Holly and I swapped positions to protect the gogoat and her to help pacify the dragon pokemon. Tabasco and Gaia’s physical might were enough to intimidate the druddigon and ultimately led to its retreat.
JL discovered the gogoat had not only been paralyzed, but suffered from a leg injury due to its fall. I attempted to soothe the goat and keep it distracted so JL could treat its wounds. Notably, it responded positively to human interaction. Gogoat was treated with topical ointments and wrapped wounds while on the scene, but ultimately the wound was determined to be too severe to heal in the wild. I captured the gogoat at the scene so that it may be transferred to the PRRC for further medical attention. Currently he is awaiting transfer in our headquarter holding area.

Winter 13, 1136

I arrived at the Grease Trap, along with a civilian, and a junior ranger, Charlie. Someone in a Superhero costume soon arrived too, and they got the doors to the building open, revealing it was rather flooded.
It was made sure that Charlie stayed back from the danger by having her watch the entrance, and we soon saw that there were Remoraid and Octillary in the building, which were hostile. There were also civilians in the building, who were not in a right state of mind, being happy and eating burgers despite being soaked in water.
When one of the people I was working with was knocked over, I sent my Vaporeon to help her, but they got shoved aside by one of the people in the building, who was chasing a burger floating in the water. Said person was then **attacked** by another person who was also trying to get the burger, and myself and another person helping had to seperate them. I pulled one of the civilians to safety, but they were struggling and crying about the burgers as I did.
Other Rangers arrived on the scene at about this point, helping us out further.
The fish Pokémon all were working together, rather quickly taking out some of our own Pokémon, but we were able to work together to K.O. the Remoraids and evacuate the civilians.
Eventually, we were able to weaken the Octillarys, and Myself and Holly each caught one. I then left to bring them to the PRRC as the situation was under control.

Galarian Corosla Escort

Galarian Corosla Escort:
Winter 20 1136,
Jr Ranger Chloe and I were cleaning up the beach of Adamas after the bad storm when we came across a ghost net in the water. It looked to have been lost for some time and when Chloe and I pulled it to shore there were quite a few Pokémon trapped inside and not all of them made it. We set free the survivors and a strange ghostly rock was also trapped within. When Chloe touched it, the rock drained some of her strength before revealing it was actually a Galarian Corsola. The two quickly bonded and outside of draining her of some her energy Chloe was unharmed. She caught the Pokémon then passed out due to being so tired. Again, unharmed just fell asleep. I escorted her back to the orphanage along with one of her Pokémon. Clover was informed and allowed Chloe to keep the Corsola.

Escort to the Blipbug Nest:
Spring 4 1137
Jl and I met with Jr Ranger Charlie in Galena on a quest to help her capture a Blipbug. We made our way to the cave where inside we explored around a bit before Charlie encountered a Blipbug. Charlie masterfully befriended the Blipbug with a berry and hanging out with it before it willingly accepted Charlie's request to become partners. After the capture we made it back to Galena without issue.
