Raised in Slateport City, Ezra Mailon is the son of a strict, and busy, upper class businessman and mother who often was out at sea acting as a Ship Captain. A lot of his actions were posturing for his father though eventually they became second nature.
He actively avoided mentioning his mother's occupation or whereabouts, finding it embarrassing after overhearing other women gossiping about her 'behavior' and state of her family. This only further drove a wedge between himself and what little time he had with her, leading him to rely on the attention of his father. This led to bullying of certain individuals, though that would only last through high school.
After graduating he went to college, and focused his career to finance and investing for his father's business. While he worked in banking financing for some time, it seemed once he came to Toro to 'visit a high school friend' he mostly abandoned his line of work.

Personality [including strengths/weaknesses]: Ezra is very confident in how he presents himself, shown especially with how calm he always seems in public. He is pretty loyal in terms of friendships and relationships in general, he'd get offended if someone asked him to be anything other than loyal to people he cares about. If you get past his tendency to act as though he 'lords over' others, he's actually rather considerate and charitable. Ezra can be a bit of a bully towards others, though it can be hard to tell who he'd be so towards, because it certainly isn't everyone. He can be aggressively spiteful, too. Though Ezra is secretly insecure, he would never admit to it, and trying to get him to would probably make him bury it more. He cares a lot about appearances.
