Description
Damien’s onyx black hair contrasts with his paler skin and is often or not unkempt and filthy with it left to grow out in a tangled mess, his shaggy bangs hanging down beside or in front of his cornflower blue eyes.
He stands at a modest 5’9” with an extremely lanky and malnourished build from his years of living on the streets, rummaging through dumpsters and picking at scraps. His lifestyle has left his posture in shambles, what was once a straight and proud posture is now hunched over and bent like one would imagine a goblin.
How Damien dresses belies his once wealthy and rich lifestyle as the son of a wealthy businessman, instead the mud-caked and tattered ‘clothes’ he wears are barely enough to be considered rags let alone an outfit, though they do their best against all sorts of weather they offer little to no functional protection after years of wear and tear.

History: Damien was born the youngest of his trio of triplets, while his sister Maxime was born first it only took around fifteen minutes before his brother Max was born next… only for him to end up being born an hour after that. Growing up the children of an extremely wealthy businessman left the triplets to have a small army of servants, maids and butlers to care for their every wish and whim, pampering and spoiling them with a lavish lifestyle. Although his brother and sister got along well they both treated Damien as a lesser and often mocked and bullied him for a plethora of things, from favourite pixelmon to food preferences and everything else.
As he grew, Damien and his siblings were sent off to a prestigious boarding school where they would spend most of their childhood and teenage years learning and living at the school only to return on holidays and breaks. He never excelled in any subject nor had the best of luck making friends however around this time Damien met a troublesome Trubbish that kept eating out of the school’s dumpsters and was constantly being chased off by the chefs and janitors. Quickly Damien came to watch the Trubbish and after inhaling far too many fumes and being bedridden for a week on end, befriended the Pixelmon and helped to keep it out of sight from the unruly janitors trying to chase it off.
It was only when he watched and was introduced to the Trubbish he had named Flotsam did Damien begin to find hobbies he enjoyed, dumpster diving and recycled arts and crafts to be specific! He watched as Flotsam used the garbage they couldn’t eat to make toys and ‘art’ out of to amuse themself. Soon enough Damien began to pick up these hobbies as well, climbing into the school’s dumpsters to rummage for whatever he could find alongside his newfound Pixelmon partner… and many times did Damien get detentions and beatings when he was caught breaking numerous school rules.
All was well for Damien and Flotsam up until Max decided he had enough of Damien getting detention and ‘ruining their family’s reputation as he put it, Max and his Growlithe attacked Flotsam while Damien wasn’t looking and tried to finally scare or maim the Pixelmon once and for all… but in the ensuing tussle between the Pixelmon and Brothers did Damien throw a punch which connected directly to Max’s eyesocket which stopped the fight then and there. Unintentionally blinding his brother in the left eye was the final straw and Damien was immediately expelled from the boarding school… only to be just as quickly disowned and kicked out by his parents upon arrival, leaving the young Damien homeless at 15.
For a few years, Damien went between staying with extended family and living on the streets with Flotsam. Unsure when their next meal would be or where they would sleep that night if at all, those years on the streets made Damien forget all about the lavish lifestyle he once lived, instead of giving him a new outlook on life… a more appreciative one. It was only on his eighteenth birthday did Damien’s uncle reach out to him to give him a single gift… a plane ticket away from Kalos to a region called Toros, and Damien quickly accepted this gift to start a new life somewhere else.

Personality: For someone living on the streets, unsure of their next meal or place they will sleep, Damien is a very upbeat and cheerful person, rarely ever without a smile on his face or something nice to say. Always happy to chat and help out both strangers and friends alike and often or not asking to go through their garbage as well!
Going from an outrageously luxurious lifestyle where every need and want was taken care of without second thought to a vagabond wandering on the streets scrounging for leftovers was a very big shift in pace, one Damien welcomed with open arms. After the various times, he nearly died either from exposure, starvation or other such unfortunate encounters gave Damien a new appreciative outlook on life, to enjoy the world for what it is and to help all those who call it their home so hopefully they won’t end up in the same dire situations as him, both people and pixelmon.

Although Damien got horrendously sick upon first meeting Flotsam, they quickly became friends!
