A variety of reasons! Theo's expertise in inventing is extremely unique, developed over years and years of RP. As such, all of his work is also unique and of extremely high quality. In addition to some of the novelty items he sells, Theo's produced systems for medical assistance, for example- these are specialized and medical supply for things like prostheses is a very high-margin business. Finally, beyond the sales he'd get from his products in Toro, Theo has a deal with Dagen Blair for overseas distribution of his goods, one which is very much in his favor according to its terms. All of this means he'd probably make a profit considerably higher than this- but given the nature of these apps I think it'd be unreasonable to ask for more than this under the circumstances.
