With Legends: Arceus releasing in just a few days, we've decided to create a chat special just for Legends discussions! Aside from the Spoilers chat.
There are three new parts to the server. There's the two text channels
┃pokemon-scarlet-and-violet and scarlet-violet-vc-text as well as a voice chat channel nestled into the list of voice channels to go with them. To access these, you need to run the command /joinspoilers in bot-command-centerThese channels are for streaming, posting live updates, and so on. If we catch you doing this outside these channels, we're gonna get a little steamy :dt_smug:
And of course, if you start worrying you're falling behind and going to get spoiled, you can always do /leavespoilers in the bot-command-center to leave the group and revoke your access to these channels.

A couple things to cover just really fast:
One: It's the ever familiar drill: Do not refer to any lore in Legends: Arceus for a period of time until Lore Team has had time to work with it. We will make an announcement when this lifts and release a statement about lore changes. You are not allowed to make references IC or OOC on server or in RP as both are infractions to this ban and we'll probably end up retconning your RP.
Two: Stay off bulbapedia if you're avoiding spoilers, there's a lot of spoilers on there as it's ALL entirely updated.

Perhaps the most noticeable right now though will be us working on the discord. Such changes so far are:
1.
┃introductions has been moved to the General category and has been limited to Whitelisted folk as a preventative measure to stop possibly bots / trolls getting to the playerbase.2.
┃lore-questions has been moved to the Support category3. The GM role is being renamed to Owner! The reason for this is because [GM] Game Moderator sort of opens us up to people PMing us for request. - So ideally, having the Owner title will persuade more people to seek out help in the appropriate channels!
That and we do OWN the server! :3c~1:
4. We will be improving the Toro Roleplay channel! yay!
We'll also be looking at a little makeover of the server, but anything major will be edited onto the post above. Thank you all though!

Hey everyone! In regards to the upcoming Music Festival: Record Etching through Dropbox is broken! However there's a way to circumvent this! A staff member with NBT Edit access can get it working, so long as you provide them a dropbox link! If you need help, please open a Staff Ticket BEFORE the date of the Music Festival. Every other part of the mod is working fine, including playback and downloading, it's truly just Etching that is broken right now.

This clearly defines the Gym Leader appointments, rules of conducts, as well as some changes to how battles are to be conducted. These have been screened and debated heavily, and we'd like to ask you to give them a try before making up your mind on them, or coming to us with complaints. We reserve the right to make adjustments going forward, but for now this is what we're trying.

Hello everyone! We've added a new plugin to the server that is going live with our daily reset. When you die, you will revive with whatever hunger you had, with a minimum of 2 bars of hunger. This is to discourage people from killing themselves on server to reset their hunger bar. :z_DotYellow:We have changed the values to the - Hunger Persistence plugin! The minimum hunger you'll get will now be: Four Bars of Hunger & Full Saturation
- We originally changed this to both discourage spamming the chat with deaths ( which create more spam with ooc jokes ) & to make Player run restaurants & events based around food worth it.
- With these values you should be able to run for a long while !
- In addition, thanks to a suggestion from Bongo, we will be implementing a daily(once per day) food kit.
/kit Food - to claim it.
So if you're in the middle of a rp, this'll help keep you fed for the duration of it! If you additionally need food, asking people is the best way.
If you have any feedback, please let us know! We literally cannot know what people may want, or have problems with, if it is never said. We just want the best for people, so! Make a ticket and be kind ~

HEY WHAT'S UP LOSERS! Let's give it up for @Bongo for helping a lot of us out with our PC problems, and helping a LOT of people with improving FPS on Toro! The dude's been nice enough to add the steps to the guide I wrote a while back on how to configure Toro to get MASSIVE FPS boosts. I've gone from about 40 to 150+ FPS in Aurelia! Some places will still dip, and if you need help I'd reach out to him, but let's not overwhelm him!

By the way, on the topic of improving your performance; we should work together to make it better for everyone by checking your own buildings on ways to optimize it! How we can do that is:
• Use less chisels in general! It’s good as a treat to decorate, don’t use chisel as the structure itself. Also as a note: full chisel blocks / walls / etc. are ESPECIALLY bad; I understand the appeal and won’t judge if you want to do a room or something with fancy or colors walls, just use it sparingly.
• Use lower quality sign pictures- compress it as a JPG if possible and just smaller in general; HD pictures can cause issues!
• Remember to remove statues and keep the number of ‘permanent’ statues limited. You can always put down more during rp!
• As a minor note: Crayfish tubs and possibly sinks can cause lag, we recommend switching it to Decocraft!
(But yes, go look at the guide linked above to help improve your performance too! Bless)

:yay: Mewody, nya'll. We've been hearing through the gravevine that people may have some complaints, or concerns about somethings - specifically, Pokemon stat changes. What we haven't been seeing though, is tickets, trying to reach out to us.
Which is a shame, because we want to hear from you all! We can't know, or help, or try to explain our processes and thoughts, and reasons if... nobody asks! ^^; We really work hard, and want to do what's best for the community overall though.
We're dynamic, and we have changed things in the past based off of evidence - data - screenshots, math. So if ya got some too, that's a big help.
So please reach out respectfully if you're having problems, concerns, or just questions about it. Not just with this either, any issues, please let us know! We're not mind readers! -- Feel free to PM me personally if you have an issue.

Gonna put out an announcement regarding the Battle Tower:
If you make it to the Brain and cannot battle them, you can have two options - with screenshot proof you made it and can't fight it, you can either wait until it's eventually fixed for a chance to fight it, OR take half the BP you would have gotten from winning (10 instead of a chance to win 20). As always, put in a Staff Misc. ticket regarding these.

Hey everyone! Due to several bugs regarding the Battle Tower, we're going to be switching it back to a Singles Format for the time being. While we hope to go back to Doubles in the future, we can't do so with our current version of Pixelmon being buggy with the feature in general.
For the future, however, when Doubles are working again, we'll be working to make both Singles AND Doubles available at the same time. We're still working out the ideas for how to make it possible, but when it's live we'll be sure to let you know how we're doing it.

Hello everyone! Quick announcement to say that the Battle Tower is now updated to Singles proper. Once Doubles is fixed, we'll start looking into adding the Doubles format alongside the Singles one.
A further, more important announcement: in all future events where the God-Butcher is present, and you choose to fight them, death consent will be enabled. To re-iterate for those who may be unfamiliar, death consent is where you are consenting to ET killing off your character by being present. This doesn't mean we're going to be actively targeting you and trying to kill you - rather, it's more of a "don't be stupid" warning.
Given the God-Butcher can show up at unexpected times, we will give players a turn or two to escape proper if they don't want to be involved. Death consent is more-so for those who choose to actively fight them. Furthermore, smaller, more personal events (such as ones made in tickets) are exceptions to this - outcomes can be discussed more proper in a smaller format, here. Lastly, we'll give reminders each time they show up just in case anyone forgets this announcement.

Hello all! We're trying to decide when a good time would be for the Festival of Lights! We know a lot of you are going to be away though, so I want to double check the best time, to get as many people as possible.
