I heard about Toro when I googled roleplaying servers and it came up
Tell us a little about yourself:
I am a college student majoring in biology and I love to play video games and roleplay. I will be a bit busy so I won’t be as active but will try to be. I am returning to playing the guitar both acoustic and electric and I love food, especially sushi! I am interested in the server just to meet new people and to roleplay and since I love Pokemon I think it will be a good way to de-stress and also have some fun.

What is power gaming/god-modding?
Not giving others the chance to react or the time to emote your reactions and actions.
What is retroactive continuity?
Changing a part of your character lore even after stating their original lore before.
What is character bleed?
Is when your character's emotions or other characters' actions affect your personal feelings toward the roleplay or the other person. Getting mad over something that happened in roleplay
Do you have previous experience playing on an RP server?
I used to rp in other games military, MMOs, and other games as well. I forgot to mention it but I used to be in the Toro league server. I forgot what my character's name was but I stopped being active due to personal problems and I wasn’t on as often. so I kinda remember some of the roleplaying style.

Appearance:
5’10 semi muscular build with dark brown hair and brown eyes. He keeps his hair short and styles it back with a fade on the side. He prefers to keep it short to avoid the annoyance of maintaining long hair. His eyes always look tired and has a cup of coffee just to stay awake. His usual fit is a white dress shirt with a tie, dress pants, and black shoes while also wearing an overcoat. He was rarely ever seen wearing anything else than a suit but when he was not it was always at home. He always keeps his prescription glasses on him as he can't see that far and are a necessity for him. The glasses are black fitting his color scheme with his suit. Coming off as a clean and hygienic person he keeps himself washed and proper not wanting to come off as dirty when he is out and about. He stands tall with a serious expression waiting analyzing everything and everyone expecting the next move to make.
Personality: Azrael is a bit awkward and doesn’t talk much until he is comfortable with the person or group of people. He studies seeking more knowledge in the science field. By nature, he can be competitive not just in academia but also in Pokemon battles and he loves to battle. His priorities are on his academics and his Pokemon battle wanting to mesh the two things together only wanting competition and challenges throughout his life. He can be very kind when it comes to his friends and his Pokemon. His motivations are to progress through the ladder and to build a future for himself and his Pokemon wanting to uncover the mysteries of the world and help develop the Pokemon world.
Biography: Azrael was born in the Unova region and lived a regular peaceful life in a small apartment in Castelia City. Azrael enjoyed exploring the city and the woods outside of the city seeing all the amazing things around him and wanting to explore when he not exploring he loved to study and read books on many subjects but his favorite would be in the science field. Before finishing. Azrael parents were always away on a business trip and they paid for his apartment so he always had the chance to go out and do things without restrictions. He met many good friends throughout his life while he did have trouble in the beginning he would eventually become close friends with others but he enjoyed being alone most of the time doing his things but he doesn’t mind having some company. When the end of his senior year of high school was coming up he was still unsure where to study or if he was going to take a break and travel but when he went to his advisor she would tell him about Toro and the university they had over there. With a smile on his face, he would apply to the university Even if he didn’t get accepted he would still like to move to a new region and explore.
Flaws:
He stutters when he feels nervous or anxious when meeting new people. Can be awkward at times and has trouble thinking up things to talk about. He hyperfocus on tasks such as reading or doing any kind of work. Can't see far without his glasses.
Ambition: To work in the science field of medicine and research he also considered being a forensic scientist for the police. He wants to do bigger things in life and maybe even run for a government position
Starter: Joltik. Azrael found his Joltik in his apartment one day eating small insects. He found it adorable so he fed it and kept it as a pet. Azrael and the Joltik build a bond together and it would be with him all the time. Azrael bought the Joltik a Pokeball to catch it just to make sure no one would try to take it.
Open Response Question:
1. You find yourself standing in a bustling town. Suddenly, a small girl runs up to you, her eyes seeming to glisten with fresh tears as her bottom lip quivers. “Please!” She cries out to you, “You must help me! My poor Meowth is stuck in a tree!” She points to a nearby tree as more tears spill out of her eyes and down her cheeks. How does your character respond?
Azrael nods to the girl with a bright smile “Don’t worry I will help” Azrael grabs his coat revealing his Joltik sleeping in his pocket rubbing its little head “Wake up buddy I need your help” The Joltik slowly open his eyes before jumping out and facing toward the tree and then back to Azrael It jumps in excitement “Use string shot to make a bed of web for the Meowth to land on and push it down”
The Joltik nodded building up a dense bed of web making sure it was strong enough to stop the Meowth from getting hurt. After Joltik finishes up the web it climbs up the tree towards Meowth with some hostility from the frightened cat Pokemon. Instead of pushing the Pokemon Joltik spits the web to Meowth's eyes causing it to fall back and land on the web below. The girl would thank Azrael and run to pick up her Meowth.
Azrael nods to the girl with a smile and calls back his Joltik. The Joltik jumps toward his training and crawls up his leg and back inside the pocket “Good Job Buddy” Azrael chuckles and walks away waving goodbye to the girl.
2. After arriving in Toro a cheerful woman walks up to you, a clipboard in her hand. “Hello and welcome to Toro! I would like to ask where you came from and why you came, as well as where you plan to go. All for for statistical reasons of course.” she asked with a bright smile as she held a pen to her clipboard. How does your character respond?
Azrael Holds his bags behind his back with his tired Joltik sleeping in his pocket. He barely notices the lady and answers “Oh sorry, Thank you I am from Unova born in Castelia City. I am going to Ferrite to apply to the University.
The lady smiled as she wrote down what Azrael said before looking back up and asking him some more questions “Oh that's great! What are you going to study?” For a moment Azrael thought about what he was going to study It was for sure something in the science field but not entirely sure which area of expertise “I have some ideas of what I want to do but right now I am going to focus on getting the highest grade my first year”
The lady looks down at her clipboard writing more things down before looking back up “Well I hope you figure it out! Thank you for answering my questions!” Azrael smiles back “It’s no problem” He walks away heading toward the exit to find a cab to Ferrite City.

I'll also let you know, since it's easy to miss but! We do level the playing field a little bit and provide Max IVs / near Max IVs for Hidden Powers - though people still need to breed if they want specific stats ( like 0 atk ) and for the rest :3 ! There's a NPC to do that in our Battle Tower!
