History:
Childhood 0-17:
Faye's home life was troubled to say the least. With and absent mother and losing her father at the age of seven when he was stabbed to death in an alleyway. Faye was a wild child, going up to adults fearlessly an acting like she's in charge and just picking up pokemon and taking them home. Two of these pokemon being a Staryu and Slakoth she named All-Star and Cookie. Faye absolutely HATED being called things like "Young Lady" by adults and she was picked on by the other orphans for her boyish attitude and tastes, but found support in another orphan named Wyatt, bonding over their love of music and even going far enough to call Wyatt her brother! The two decided a while back that if they were going to get adopted, it would be together ... and so they did, a few years later! They were adopted by Iris Lancaster and Rei Langley and moved into their Viridis home.
Young Faye was SO inspired by her mother Iris' style and thanks to her Faye was able to explore new styles and ways to present herself. Her mom helped Faye shave off her old ponytail and began growing out this scruffy mohawk. It took Wyatt and Faye sometime, but they settled in nicely to their new home. The cracks of a rift between the to sibilings began to take shape as Faye and Aria got in trouble and Faye had trouble getting along with the other kids. Faye was accepted into Ferrite Private School on a scholarship for her soccer skills and while she performed well in the sport, she struggled immensely in the classroom setting. Constantly getting into disciplinary issues that caused her to grow distant with her brother. She got into a habit of beating down on people that tried to pick on her and became feared by her peers due to her assaults and she was so very close to being expelled.
But one day while she was out training her Golbat she discovered the ancient Temple of Groudon nestled away and wandered inside. She was so enchanted by it and soon it became the case where when she wasn't hanging out with her old orphanage friend Aria she was spending her time at the temple. The elders of the temple accepted her for who she was and they were able to help Faye turn her pent-up energy and rage into productivity in a more hands-on environment as she helped around with the day to day upkeep of the crumbling temple. She was able to work up the confidence to come out to her family about her identity and tell them that she's a boy. During this time he'd keep up with his friend from the orphanage Aria Robinson which he had feelings for, but didn't know how to vocalize them. To most people though, Faye's feelings were clear as day and people didn't try stepping between them and risk Faye's wrath.
During this time, a vacancy opened for the Carmine gym leader and Faye wrote in to the town hall, but in Faye’s rejection letter he’d find out that his brother never told him that HE was training to be the next gym leader. A rift between the two deepened as Wyatt began performing solo more and they barely saw each other outside of the rare time they were both home at once. Faye got a job taking care of Pokemon at the Cobalt Marine Center thanks to his mother Rei and experience taking care of hard Pokemon like Vigoroth and Muk. With his time divided between temple work, sports, his job and his studies he spent most of his free time in his late teens hanging out with Aria while Wyatt trained and worked on his solo career. Faye just barely was able to graduate high school, but with that behind him Aria and Faye set their sights on the Carmine underground and promised to move in with each other once they were older.
Young Adult 18-22:
So that’s exactly what they did. Faye was older, so he found a place in Carmine’s Underground to call his own. Aria didn’t have the luxury of being adopted and ended up spending many nights there with Faye as they grew closer. He was finally old enough to become an official member of the Temple of Groudon and had himself tattooed with ceremonial designs as proof of his devotion. A sun under his eye to embody Groudon’s power and matching markings along his arms to mimic Groudon and represent the hands Faye will use to mold the world around him. He made a pledge to help revitalize the crumbling temple and turn it into something to be proud of. Things finally began to look up for him! He made new friendships with Isaak and Melusine and Tohai joined him alongside his mission. He quit his job at the Cobalt Marine Center and got a job at the local bar, the Tipsy Mushroom.
While Faye worked his butt off and ended up inheriting the bar after the previous owner retired, stars happened to align and Wyatt finished his Gym Leader training around the same time! Wyatt helped Faye and Aria get the bar setup for the opening night with a killer performance included. The brothers began to catch up and mend that rift as Faye would find out that his application would be reconsidered and he’d train under the champion Asasil Ahlgrim to replace her as the Carmine Gym leader alongside his brother but after her abrupt departure from the region Wyatt had to pick up the pace and finish the training. During their training the brothers were able to visit Paraspace and each get a Poipole of their own. After shadowing Wyatt on some challenges and proving himself, Faye took his position as Carmine’s Infernal Engine. After it was all said and done Faye and Aria spent more and more time with each other and finally managed to tell each other about their feelings and confess their love after a special moment. Life couldn’t be better for him.
Nature:
Vicious, loud, blithe, with a hair-trigger temper. He's impulsive, lively, scarcastic, and claims to act only in his own interest. Faye's known to be wrathful and vulgar, sometimes even threatening physical violence. He places a great deal of importance on mutual respect and isn't afraid to make true on his threats he makes. Often times he throws himself into danger without fear even crossing his mind with limited consideration of those around him.
In spite of all this, Faye still has a good heart and, whether he admits it or not, is more caring than he lets on.
He has a different temperament to those who are kind to him. With friends, he is expressive and willing to talk about himself. Faye favors teasing his friends, and is more observant of their emotions. He makes an effort to be considerate, and tries to not push them to talk about a stressful issue. Faye is also loyal, readily wanting to assist a friend if they are in danger or troubled.
He's untrustworthy of those who present themselves as virtuous and is a firm beliver in the power of actions over words.
Also, He's surprisingly business savvy. Being able to identify market trends and navigate deals to come out ahead.
