The one could practically 'feel' the excitement heard on the man despite current circumstances. "I'm holding a little event in honor of those venturing into para-space today at the beach bar in Cobalt, come join! Free food and drink for the 'Heroes of Paraspace!'"

If you would like modifications in design or color, or need the batteries replaced for the helmet radio or flashlight, feel free to come find me at Ferrite's Town Hall. The Toro Times news would be reporting of a mysterious garbage thief in Aurelia! Yes, garbage. One night your trash can is full, and the next it’s clean as a whistle! While the motive is unknown, citizens are advised to keep a close eye on their trash if they don’t want it stolen.
In other news, an influx of slime has been seen covering the streets of the city as well. The cause of this is unknown, though it seems to be slowly growing exponentially in amount over time. Citizens are advised to watch where they step.

Jigglypuff Radio Station cut in with a special announcement. The radio silently buzzes static for a few moments before quiet muttering could be heard, followed by a young girl's voice.
"Hmm? It's on? Oh!"
The voice cleared her throat, then began speaking with an excessive amount of energy.
"Hellooooo, Toro!~ I'm sure many of you are wondering what this is, and who I am! Well, I am the wonderous, the majestic, the mystical Layla Rose, magician extraordinaire! And this is an announcement for my unofficial debut! Come see me perform the deadly Water Torture Escape later this season at Jigglypuff Park! Don't worry about buying a ticket, this performance is on the house. I hope to see you there!~"
Layla giggles and the announcement cuts out, returning to the usual radio program.

[An official notice from the Tyrian Mayor’s office is delivered to every resident of Tyrian, and everyone associated with the nearby guild and Happy Tides Employees.]
Resident or Associate of Tyrian,
As a few may already be aware, construction projects are taking shape within the city with the moving of the radio tower. We thank you for your patience as these projects move forward. Several buildings are going to receive a facelift with upgraded materials, our beach pavilion will be moved shortly, and the beach itself will return to its appearance from our 50th anniversary, boardwalk included.
However, not all progress can be made as smoothly as we are used to. This notice is to inform you that on [Friday, August 9th], the abandoned original town hall will be demolished. While we do have experts on the scene, please keep yourself at a safe distance, and place all nervous pokemon into their pixelballs. The Happy Tides Reserve will receive temporary staff to ensure the health of the pokemon currently within your location. Guild members are asked to return to your guild on that day to help your Guildmaster with any nervous pokemon in your area, as well. Wild pixelmon are to be taken care of, but it is best to avoid the savannah just to be safe.
Thank you once more for your patience and understanding. The removal of the old town hall will pave way for a new project I am certain Tyrian, as well as all of Toro, will enjoy. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact me at my office or at home as always.

The Suit Template is still here! It's at the lowest resolution, so all you need to do is apply your skin as a layer beneath it! For this skin, a chiseled helmet will be provided! If you decided to go with your own design, that's perfectly fine! You're also free to make your own edits to the skin. A lot more freedom is allowed this time around!
I want to note that ICly, only the people who are going into Paraspace are getting these suits! And there's really nothing about them special except they'll protect you from Paraspace's environment. THESE ARE NOT THE ROSS SUITS for you veteran players.
If you can't figure out how to layer your images in something like GIMP or Photoshop, ask a member of staff to help you.
If you want little gizmos to go with it, you need to talk to me as well. We can always say you spoke with Dion long before this.
NOTE: IF YOU'RE MAKING COLOR CHANGES, LET ME KNOW, THAT WAY WE CAN GET YOU A HELMET COLOR CHANGE! The helmets are chiseled, so I'd prefer you come talk to me about what colors you're using so I can pull the colors from existing textures so I can make it match!

Posters and word of mouth has spread news of Aaron's Spring Party! -- Beach/swimwear is acceptable, but bring a spare set of clothes, as you'll be going into the forests.
The spring season has brought us into some new days, so why don't we celebrate and give back to nature with a springy beach festival of sorts? We can plant some berries to boost the ecosystem in the nearby forest!
Head over to the beach by Adamas and maybe bring a few snacks to share with some others! Because you're in for a day of fun and excitement! With all kinds of fun things to see and do, including:

Witness reports say the cause was some type of Paramon - though the threat will be dealt with. There's another announcement from the Paraspace Research Initiative, featuring Celeste, this time just by radio and print.
"Greetings again, Toro. We will be setting out once again for Paraspace soon, this time to the home of PA-03 'Blade.' We will be setting up instruments for mapping portal appearances. Volunteers are again welcome. Because this mission will be especially critical to our efforts to end the ongoing crisis, and because PA-03 and its home are particularly lethal, you must be prepared to proceed with caution if you choose to volunteer. The atmosphere of PA-03's home has a high oxygen concentration. As a result, Fire-type moves will not be safe for ordinary use. Gravity there is about 122% of Earth's. We can only guarantee 3 sets of protection for Pokemon per volunteer this time, so choose wisely. Volunteers should show up at the PRI outpost on the southern island at 6:30 PM on Autumn 27.
As always, thank you for your ongoing support. Together, we will protect Toro's future."

We have a crate full of shiny new badges and a fresh coat of paint, and I'll be accepting any challengers that want to start on their gym journey! I hope to see people there!"

Attention all scientists! The Ferrite Public Labs are now open for rent! Yes that's right! Even though Ferrite is still under construction, the Public Labs were a top priority and we've just finished putting all the finishing touches on the building! Rent for labs start at 1.5k a season! As my own way of saying 'thank you for your patience' this entire Winter season is free. (So you won't pay rent until Summer Season).
If you'd like to rent a place, come talk to me in my office in Town Hall! I still don't have a secretary yet, so just check with the Mismagius at the desk outside my door to see if it's okay to come in! If you don't see her, look again, she's very tiny.

Some may have noticed eerie skies over the old wasteland in between Aurelia and Cobalt, with some spooky looking carriages heading inside... thankfully, you'll have an answer for why! The Candy Festival has returned to Toro, and it's bigger than ever! Not only is there games and all the free candy you could eat, but a spooky circus has come to town as well!
The festival will be in the week of October 6th to October 12th, with the opening event being at 6:30 PM EST on the 6th, with events daily at the festival, or circus shows! There will also be a costume contest on the 12th at 6:30 PM EST, with a very special prize to the best costume and performance!

As of recently, when it finally reached midnight the bell tower on top of the haunted house near Tyrian has rung. The Church of the Fallen Star is now open and having weekly mass! Breaking News: The city of Aurelia is currently overrun with ghosts! The cause? The Giratina Doors were blown upon by one 'Elizabeth Wakefield', who swore vengeance on the city and its mayor and co-mayor. Mayor Juliet gave this as a comment:
"The important thing now is to make sure everyone is safe. Staying inside for the time being is requested, and i'll be putting a temporary curfew on the city for everyone's safety, as Ghosts tend to get more active during the night. If you need to leave home, please do so with a Pokemon or any other sort of partner if you can."
The ghost Pokemon seem to be sticking to the shadows, but a good few seem to be roaming the streets and pulling pranks - though some violent ones seem to want to pick fights. Remember to always have a buddy with you if you're on the streets, folks!
In other news, the opening of the Giratina Doors also released the souls of humans as well! So perhaps you may be visited by a loved one during this time period? Stay vigilant, folks!

Advertisements/sign-up sheets start floating around for dinners and workshops, hosted at the Little Pines Campground, hosted by Nikko Bryant!
[ Hey @everyone! This is Toro’s yearly holiday/winter event. For those of you that are new to Toro, the annual winter event usually lasts quite a bit of time (in this case a week) and presents fun opportunities for characters to meet each other and make connections. Each day will have a workshop (hosted by a member of our wonderful community,) as well as a wrap-up every evening. At the same time, the Little Pines Campground will be dressed for cozy winter activities, such as sipping cocoa in front of a fire, enjoying hot food, and even roasting marshmallows (indoors of course!) There are also less cozy activities available, like snowball fights, snow forts, and any other manner of activities that you can conceive with the characters you meet, or the characters you already know!
The event will last from this Sunday, December 1st, until Saturday, December 7th, and lodging, food, and general admittance to all workshops will be free to your characters.
You are encouraged to stay at the camp for the whole week to interact with the community as much as possible! Workshop sign-ups are available here:

Emergency broadcasts have gone out across Toro via radio and television warning that Toro is currently besieged by an enormous snowstorm, with dangerously high winds and enormous snowfall. Little Pines is currently functioning as a shelter thanks to a 'shield,' and citizens wishing to enter can report to the bridge over Twin Falls, where they will be ushered through the barrier. For safety's sake, those inside will not be allowed to leave. Otherwise, citizens are encouraged to shelter in place and avoid going out as much as possible.

Hi everyone! For our winter event we're doing something cozy by bringing everyone together. This event is meant to provide rp and meetings that might not otherwise easily happen. You are encouraged to come to Little Pines and join the fun. For anyone who doesn't, understand that the outside isn't really safe right now. We won't be telling you that your character is trapped and sending rescue teams if you get stuck in the snow- because this event is focused on rp at Little Pines- but your characters would not be able to continue business as usual. Let us know if you have any questions.

The whipping noises of the storm die down in the dead of night. Those inside the massive dome over Little Pines wake up in the morning to find that the storm that had been beating on the shield that protected them had finally cleared, leaving a wonderful wintery wonderland outside their sanctum. A few hours later that day, said shield dropped, allowing the inhabitants to leave once again, and return home safely.

Jake Lashley is a man in his twenties, with blonde hair, green eyes, and a large burn scar on the right side of his face. He is wanted for multiple charges, including assault and the kidnapping of Lizette Wilde. If you have any information on the whereabouts of Jake Lashley or Lizette Wilde, please contact the RTMP immediately. We advise people not to engage Jake Lashley directly, as he may be dangerous."

Several Communications Channels, such as newspapers, radios, and TV programming would now carry ANOTHER announcement from the RTMP.
"Attention all citizens. This is an important bulletin from the RTMP. Be on the look out for a man wearing a costume, and a Duskull Mask. He may or may not be referring to himself as 'The Hollow Man'. We have strong evidence to suspect him to be Jake Lashley. If you see this man, like with Jake Lashley, do not engage him, as he may be dangerous. Instead, please contact the RTMP immediately.
Furthermore, if you have information on the whereabouts of Noelane Akahoshi Santiago, Lizette Wilde, or Jake Lashley, please contact the RTMP immediately."

When the radio and tv changes back to news later that night, there's a different face and voice than the normal speakers. It's RTMP Commissioner Harvey Garrett, looking every inch the grieving 80-something year old man he is. His voice is solemn as he speaks.
"Police Officer Tomias Miller was killed yesterday in Drystone Cave while attempting to arrest a wanted fugitive.
"The RTMP had received information that the wanted subject, Jake Lashley, was in the lowest area of Drystone Cave within the Toro Desert. Members of the Regional Toro Mounted Police located the subject within the cave and attempted to take him into custody. During the arrest the man attacked the officer directly, resulting in his death when Officer Miller took a Hyper Beam directly to protect civilians.
"Officer Miller had served with the RTMP for eight years and has been posthumously promoted to the rank of Senior Police Officer. He is survived by his fiancée and young daughter. He will be missed by all of us.
"Please, if you see a criminal, don't rush in. Lives are at stake, and it's important to remember that every life is important. Call the RTMP, and stay safe."
The TV fades to black before resuming the normal news.

Another RTMP Bulletin was sent out. The voice on the other end was none other than that of Edgar Penn's. He spoke firmly, cutting through the static silence of the radio or TV.
"Attention Toro. It has come to my attention that more and more people are donning masks, in an attempt to 'Empower' themselves to fight crime. I would like to remind everyone doing so of a few things. Firstly: A mask does not give you power. You have no reason to wear it if you have nothing to hide. Secondly: the act of Masked Vigilantism is illegal- unless you are registered with the RTMP, at which point we recommend you join up with us. Thirdly: Wearing a Mask, registered with the RTMP or not, does not make you less of a civilian. You have no authority, and we will prosecute you with extreme prejudice if you are caught breaking the law. For those of you masked and unregistered, consider not wearing the masks and joining the RTMP. Otherwise come make yourselves known to us. For those of you registered: Please still consider joining the RTMP. At this point we'd appreciate more help. Thank you. Have a good day."

It is Toro tradition to tell your wish to Kibo during this viewing time, and hope they grant it over the year- or to give you motivation to complete it on your own!
There are food, drinks, music, entertainment and fancy dress! Although formal wear is not require to get in, it is encouraged to treat yourself and come in something nice!
