Tell us a little about yourself: I'm 22 years old, I love every pokemon game, so i want to try this roleplay server. My native language is Spanish, but I know how to express myself in english (with some mistakes, but this is part of the lore lol).

What is roleplaying? cover up yourself with the skin of a ficticial character, acquiring their personality and history. This means you need to react and move as the character you are playing, ignoring your own judgement.
What is meta-gaming? get some kind of advantage knowing things that you are not supposed to known in the game, and the player knows. Basically, its use some information that your character don't know in your favor, breaking the role.
What is power-gaming / god-modding? Power gaming is when a character can perform any action without limitations, ignoring the role they supposedly have. For example, if my character is an old man, it is impossible for him to travel long distances on foot. Basically it is ignore the physical limitations imposed by the role of your character. This includes taking advantage in some actions that breaks the role.
What is retroactive continuity? (retcon): retcon is changing or modifying the character's lore giving a new meaning or adding things that give the player a certain advantage. This takes away the importance of the already established lore. I understand "Powergaming" as doing actions that the character in the role can't do. For example, When I played GTA roleplay you can't jump while you were running because this didn't happen in real life. Maybe in-game (in this case minecraft) Pokemon can spawn in the streets and maybe in some buildings, but that doesn't mean I gonna fight against them in every situation because in the game its possible, but into the role fighting a pokemon in a café breaks completely the situation. Furthermore, a character cant do an action that involve the reaction of another character, because thats unfair.
What is the difference between in-character (IC) and out-of-character (OOC)? IC is talk and act as the character, and OOC is talk and act as the player. IC is basically every time you play to follow the lore of the character, and OOC is to talk things related to the game (or asking for help) only if this doesnt benefit the character's lore.
Do you have previous experience playing on a RP server? (This won’t affect your acceptance) I played gta roleplay a few times, but not for a lot of time because there are a lot of players that don't respect the role

Ssaron has the appearance of a young man with a resentful look. His eyes are light brown, appearing to be the color of sand. Ssaron's descendants are a renowned family that has lived for generations in desert lands, so the intense sun has damaged the skin of all its members. The skin is light in tone and rough, a little dry and with imperfections. Ssaron is of average height due to his youth and usually has a serious expression on his face.

Ssaron is a serious and arrogant young man who believes that he can achieve anything. He has a renowned surname from Paldea, that’s the reason why he is a arrogant and is not humble. He is very competitive and always seeks to stand out. He considers that his family turned their back on him, that’s why he feels betrayed and is resentful of the world. His only desire is become very strong and compete in any aspect he finds.
He is a good person, but his good intentions are covered by arrogance and the desire to surpass others. The serious expression is only a shell, in the deep he is a kind and fun person, although only certain circumstances can bring out his kinder side. He loves all Pokémon regardless of whether they are strong or not, believing that there is a hidden potential in each of them, although he feels a greater affinity with the ground types.

Ssaron's offspring is a renowned family from Paldea, whose prestige born from its dominance in ground-type Pokemon.
The Terranova family its a renowned family from Paldea (desert zone in the east province), because their members shows a very high skill in Pokemon battles with a mastery in ground type. The ground-type gym leader came from this renowned family for centuries. Not all of its members excel in combat, but thanks to their proximity to the earth they excel in other areas such as underground exploration, construction in deserts, they are good at withstanding high temperatures, etc.
Ssaron was a skilled student during his childhood, managing to obtain high grades and excelled greatly in combat, which led him to arrogance and humiliating trainers who were just starting out. Nevertheless, his parents noticed that the values he was cultivating were not what the family sought to instill in its members, and he was becoming a bad person, using his abilities to humiliate and destroy his rivals instead of enjoying true of combat. Ssaron meant to be an earth-type gym leader in that region, however he was becoming the opposite meaning of a true leader. For this reason, his parents gave him a fire proof, sending him to another region to rediscover himself, learning the true value of humility and what it means to achieve things for yourself. They sent him to this new region with a weak gible, forcing him to grow up with this pokemon. He can only return and fulfill the family legacy when he proves himself a worthy ground-type trainer.
Flaws: arrogance, pride, undervalues others, does not show itself as it is on the inside. He can understand the language of the new region perfectly but often expresses it poorly.

You find yourself standing in a bustling town. Suddenly, a small girl runs up to you, her eyes seeming to glisten with fresh tears as her bottom lip quivers. “Please!” She cries out to you, “You must help me! My poor Meowth is stuck in a tree!” She points to a nearby tree as more tears spill out of her eyes and down her cheeks. How does your character respond?
Ssaron looks at the tree, managing to identify the Meowth, then looks back at the girl and says: "If you want your Meowth, go for it, don't wait for someone else to solve your problems." The girl froze at such a response, feeling scared at such indifference. Ssaron squats down and tells her in a relaxed tone: "I will help you only if it is necessary, not before seeing you trying by yourself. Go ahead and try it." The girl with difficulty tried to climb the tree without success, ending with a sad expression shouting: "I can't, I can't." Ssaron, desperate because of the girl's little effort, quickly climbs the tree and takes the Meowth in his arms, climbs down from the tree and hands it to the girl saying: "You disappoint me." Ssaron quickly continued on his way, frustrated by the girl's lack of will to achieve her goals.
You are walking along the road when your eyes lock onto a trainer's in the distance. At that moment, you both freeze in place. You see a glimmer in the trainer's eyes as he reaches for his Pokeball. "Go, Rattata! Show this chump what we've been training for!" the trainer shouts as he swiftly releases his chosen partner in the vacant space that separates the two of you. How does your character respond?
Ssaron with a smile and a feeling of superiority takes Gible out of his pokeball and shouts: "You are not prepared to fight a member of the Terranova family." The other trainer eager for combat gives his best effort, however the Rattata was not enough to defeat a pseudo-legendary. After the battle, Ssaron tells the trainer: "I told you, you are incapable of beating me. I don't doubt the abilities of your pokemon, I doubt the abilities you have as a trainer. You don't have the skills to beat someone like me, keep training and someday, when I reach the gym leader status, I'll be waiting for you. I hope you don't disappoint me." The other trainer answered: "I don't mind disappointing you, I just don't want to disappoint myself. I like fighting and meeting new people, winning isn't everything. You wouldn't be a good gym leader with that attitude. Maybe you won the fight, but I don't think you feel better. I lose and Im happy because Rattata do his best. Think about it." Ssaron with a bewildered face did not say anything, he just turned around and continued on his way.

He is a good person because he just want to be stronger and stronger, improving himself with his pokemon. He can be rude with some players but not always (in some situations he can save his words). Ssaron is not a MEAN character, he is cold. Cold means say the things about someone that can really help them but not everyone dare to say (this applies in battles, their business, ...). But in the good side, he gonna evolve with the days, learning of the failure not only in battles, so if the people treat him bad or try to avoid him, this can be positive for him (because he gonna evolve as a character). I will use the ooc to clarify when the character is rude but not me, so everyone can feel comfort.
