History: Upon reaching the age of 10, Totoma's father entrusted a Chimchar to his son as his first pokemon. Chan is playful, cheeky, and loves his trainer.
Chan evolved into a Monferno after helping Totoma catch his first wild pokemon and evolved into an Infernape when battling a rude beachgoer.

Gender: Male
History: There was a time in Toro when the mythical pokemon Hoopa caused people, pokemon, and other objects to spill into the region through its rings, which randomly appeared in the sky.
During a day on the beach, one of these such rings appeared overhead Totoma, which caused a horde of Sharpedo to spill out and attack.
Before he could be eaten, a White and Red Riolu soon fell through the portal as well, and quickly defended the young boy from the mighty foes. Together, they bested the beasts! However, once the fighting was over, the ring closed, and the way back home was forever lost to the Riolu.
Impressed by the boy's efforts to fight back, despite being overwhelmed by fear, the Riolu decided to make the best of a bad situation and join the boy.
It was the best decision it ever made.
It evolved into a Lucario while battling a Hawlucha. Using a powered-up Reversal with its new strength, the pokemon was defeated and caught.
After meeting various challenges with it's trainer, it obtained a form beyond evolution. During a battle with a powerful, unknown pokemon, a Megastone was obtained. With the power of burst evolution, Shifu defeated it with precision and overwhelming power.
The Lucario itself is serious and dislikes horseplay when focus is required. This often causes him to get into scuffles with Chan, the Infernape.

Gender: Male
History: Rojo was the first wild pokemon that Totoma ever caught. It was a Makuhita at the time. This loyal pokemon has battled bravely in every gym Totoma's challenged and has always come in clutch when needed.
It's taken a BIG liking to the Lonnie Burgers...
Species: Hawlucha
Nickname: Brochacho
Gender: Male
History: This Hawlucha was caught atop the mountain peak by the city of Ferrite. It almost defeated Totoma, but was caught thanks to his Lucario. It's quick to battle, nimble, and loves to show off.
Species: Pangoro
Nickname: Po
Gender: Male
History: Caught as a Pancham after saving Totoma from it's mother, Po is constantly exerting swagger and confidence. It evolved from a Pancham after fighting alongside Chan against rude beachgoers.
Species: Kubfu
Gender: Male
History: This Kubfu has a long history with Totoma. After first being discovered as Terra and Terzo when they were children during the Kibo festival, it later revealed itself to Totoma some years later with the intention to fight.
It was not a standard Pokemon battle, but instead, a battle between fighters. After twenty minutes, it retreated, only to reveal itself again several years later to repeat it's actions.
This would repeat throughout Totoma's life until his early 20's, when he finally bested the pokemon in hand-to-hand combat. Ever since, it's chosen to travel with him. They both train hard to become greater than they were yesterday.
Nature: Totoma used to be somewhat shy as a child, but like the mighty crustle, has smashed his shell thanks to the support from his friends and father. Now, he's brave, honorable, and true, as well as fun-loving and hard-working. He's always kind and cares deeply for his friends.
Seeing any of his friends in distress will very quickly light a metaphorical fire in his chest, and it only's only gotten hotter over time.
He tends to be cautious when in unfamiliar situations, and loves fighting type pokemon!
Weakness: Totoma can be reckless with his training, causing him to harm himself at times.
Alignment: Neutral Good
Ambitions: Totoma wants to become a Master of Kung-Fu, just like the great dragon warrior in the Kung-Fu Pancham movies.
Biography:
Totoma's was born in Unova and was raised by Raine Wholeheart, his mother. Raine was a professional Model, and often traveled for on-site shoots.
Being incredibly young at the time, Totoma was blessed with the gift of ignorance of the complicated situation around him. Little did he know, he was his Mother's most well-kept secret. Not even his father, Lonnie Tide, knew about his existence. Totoma's mother had her reasons, but those reasons would never become known as she died in a plane crash when Totoma was 4. He was not on the plane, thankfully.
It had been arranged for Totoma to live with his father should his mother pass away, however, Lonnie has never informed himself and was more than a little surprised when a 4-year-old appeared on his front doorstep with a man in a suit that provided all the legal documentation to prove that Totoma was his son.
Totoma is now living his best life in Toro, but still wonders about his mom every now and again...
