Toro Arbiter Discusson - Round Seven

Post: # 12239Post Rosy »

After the Premier Debates, the sole candidate, the current Arbiter of Justice, Marigold LeGrand would take the stage. The woman was dressed in a sleek red overcoat with gold buttons & flourishes over a white turtleneck, white pants, black lace-up shoes, and her long golden hair let down.
Before Marigold stepped up, during the short intermission, her 'theme' would play.

Marigold LeGrand

Introduce Yourself
Why are you running for Arbiter?
What do you believe qualifies you for this position?
What do you hope to achieve if elected?
How do you think you’ll be able to cooperate with the other officials?
What is your legislative agenda for your second term?
What is your approach to verdicts and sentencing?
Where do you think Toro needs the most improvement, and how will you help?
Audience question from anonymous-
As the Premier candidates have already been asked, Toro’s environment has not always gone protected. Would you be willing to commit to a pledge to protect Toro’s sensitive environments through conservation easements and designating areas, such as the Emerald Rainforest, off limits private and corporate ownership and exploitation?

OOC:
  • -- Questions were now open to the public! Please follow these rules:
    • Please wait for the previous question to be answered before asking another one.
    • Ask your question ICly please!
    • Unless specified in roleplay, the candidates will decide with eachother in the order they'll reply.
    • Final Remarks will be done by - * Sunday at Midnight, EST* - so get your question in before then!

    - To add, these are moderated, guarded debates, although it is an effort we're not putting in by including one every time between questions - as it'd just slow down the whole thing- , please keep this in mind before posting. aka, don't run in screaming, you'll be escorted out most likely by the coppers.
