The Pixelmon Rescue Center is a place founded by Lana Norinne that primarily works to rehabilitate injured or trainer-owned Pixelmon so they can be returned to the wild. It is a non-profit organization which mostly runs on donations and volunteers. It houses a specialized Pixelmon Hospital open to all Pixelmon, several large habitats, and a greenhouse to make sure both the volunteers and the Pixelmon eat fresh and healthy food.
We designed our Rescue to have several large habitats rather than individual ones help to emulate the wild. Pixelmon will feel at home, and it helps rehabilitating Pixelmon get used to the environment they’ll be returned to. In addition, it allows for them to have more space, and with Pixelmon mixing in the habitats it encourages Pixelmon to interact with each other.
The hospital on grounds is meant specifically to help treat any injured Pixelmon, trainer-owned and wild, and is open to the public to come and go as needed. It has the latest model of healers, and the staff are all highly qualified to work with the Pixelmon who might need more.
Despite our best efforts there will be Pixelmon that cannot return to the wild. This can be because they’ve been born into a domestic life, born in the shelter, or because they’ve acquired some sort of disability, Either way, these Pixelmon would not be able to survive without a caretaker, and we have them up for adoption
Our rescue has many volunteer positions open for those looking to help Pixelmon in need! If you’re not able to volunteer, please consider donating. This extends to items as well, additional potions, antidotes, Pixelballs, or other various items always help!
We hope you enjoy the time you might spend at the shelter, and if you have any problems, questions, or concerns feel free to contact a staff member. We’re always looking for feedback!
